SR-Machine Shop.
Our firm is
founded on a solid basis and recently we celebrated our 70th
anniversary.
During those
years, SR Machine Shop has aquired
valuable experience in manufacturing and maintanance of various kinds
of equipment and machinery used in fishmeal and fish industy.
Stainless
steel is
our speciality.
To name a few of our
standard products we can mention screw conveyors.. We have hundreds of
them, both for domestic use and export. We can offer conveyors with or
without drives. We also have made a lot of shell and tube for various
use durning the years.
We have built
machinery and metal devices for fish factories and others in the fish
industry. Our products can be found all
across Iceland and abroad. Among our latest
customers are MAREL and BECTHEL.
We are located in
Siglufjörður, North Iceland, near Akureyri. Given the quality and
frequency of todays transport we can deliver our products suprisingly
fast, because we have daily transport from Siglufjörður via trucks.
We have about 15
- 20
emplyoees. Most of them have a degree in metalworking and machine
construction. Most important of all is that
they have between them a vast experience in these fields.
We can also offer
technological assistance and enginering for most projects.
